The right to use the Key Flag symbol is issued upon application to the origin mark committee of the Association for Finnish Work. Key Flag products and services must be produced in Finland. When issuing the Key Flag, all costs accumulated up to the shipping of a product at the factory gate are observed. The use of the Key Flag is regulated by the Association for Finnish Work, that has been promoting Finnish know-how already for over 95 years.

Are there some illegal copies of Lunette menstrual cups? I have seen cups sold in auction sites which looks like Lunette but are packed differently.

Yes, unfortunately there are illegal copies of Lunette menstrual cups. The design of Lunette cups is innovative and new so we have been the first menstrual cup to have copies made in China. All original Lunette cups are made in Finland by strict quality procedures from medical grade silicone. On other hand, menstrual cups made in China are many times made in factories that don't adhere to child labor laws or anti-sweatshop laws. Also products may claim to be made from medical grade silicone when they actually aren't. Medical grade silicone is more expensive so many of these cheap copies are made from cheap silicone of poor quality or even from plastic.
