I have been using the Lunette cup for a little over 2 years now and will never, ever go back to tampons again.
Better not. Dish soap, hand soap and anything oil-based can weaken the silicone or leave residues that irritate. Cup Wash is pH-balanced and made for silicone.
During your period, every time you empty it — at least every 12 hours — with warm water and Cup Wash. Between cycles, boil it for 5 minutes.
