Hi AMar,
Hi Hann,

many reasons might delay your period, such as stress, hormonal imbalance, or lifestyle changes like a new schedule. Hormones regulate the menstrual cycle, and many things can affect your hormone function and balance. Delayed periods can always be an indication of pregnancy. Please note that the easiest way to find out if you are pregnant is with an at-home pregnancy test. If the period doesn’t return until next month, if you think you might be pregnant or generally if you are we recommend consulting a doctor. Please keep in mind that we are not medical professionals and therefore cannot make a remote diagnosis. Only a medical professional can make the necessary examinations and tell you whether you are pregnant or what could be the reason for the delay.

Best regards,
Team Lunette

Hi Etsy!

I am sorry to hear your period is late. I totally understand that it causes stress and insecurity. Many reasons might delay your period, such as stress, hormonal imbalance, or lifestyle changes like a new schedule. Hormones regulate the menstrual cycle, and many things can affect your hormone function and balance.

Delayed periods can always be an indication of pregnancy, even if you took the morning after pill. But it could also be possible that the morning after pill has affected your periods through causing a hormonal imbalance.

Please note that the easiest way to find out if you are pregnant is with an at-home pregnancy test. Please keep in mind that we are not medical professionals and therefore cannot make a remote diagnosis. Only a medical professional can make the necessary examinations. So please visit a doctor if you worry about a possible pregnancy and/or if your period doesn’t show up, despite a negative pregnancy test (you may want to take one again to be on the safe side).

Best,
Team Lunette

Hey Salma!

Tender nipples could be a sign of many things, even pregnancy or periods (PMS).

As we are no medical professionals and cannot make remote diagnosis, we would recommend taking an at-home pregnancy test to find out if you are pregnant or not. If your period is late, or if you otherwise think you might be pregnant or generally if you are we recommend consulting a doctor. Only a medical professional can make the necessary examinations and tell you what is going on.

Best regards, Team Lunette

Hi Uc!

Keep in mind that many reasons might delay your period, such as stress, hormonal imbalance, or lifestyle changes like a new schedule. Hormones regulate the menstrual cycle, and many things can affect your hormone function and balance. Being sick and/or taking medication can also affect your periods and menstrual cycle and cause delays or irregularities. Using birth control or taking emergency contraceptives (Plan-B) can also affect your cycle.

If you’re concerned about pregnancy it is best to take an at home pregnancy test or to consult a doctor. As we are not medical professionals we cannot provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Hi Jayda! Many reasons might delay your period, such as stress, hormonal imbalance, or lifestyle changes like a new schedule. Also if you are sick, since you mentioned developing a cough, that could also cause your cycle to be affected. Delayed periods can also always be an indication of pregnancy, and signs of pregnancy could be similar to signs of periods for some. Please note that the easiest way to find out if you are pregnant is with an at-home pregnancy test.

If you think you might be pregnant or generally if you are worried, I would recommend consulting a doctor. Please keep in mind that we are not medical professionals and therefore cannot make a remote diagnosis. Only a medical professional can make the necessary examinations.

I had my last regular period on the 22nd May. 14 days later which was on 4th June, I got my period again. This is July and according to my period calendar I was to get my period on the 3rd of July. It is 2 days late already and I’m worried.
Note: I took birth control pill on the 30th of May.

Hi Ogunnika Olayinka V & Margaret!

Many reasons might delay your period, such as stress, hormonal imbalance, or lifestyle changes like a new schedule. Hormones regulate the menstrual cycle, and many things can affect your hormone function and balance. For many, it can also be normal for the cycle length to vary few days. Delayed periods can always be an indication of pregnancy. Please note that the easiest way to find out if you are pregnant is with an at-home pregnancy test.

Keep tracking your cycle with a period app or by making notes to your calendar. This way you can be up to date with your cycle :) If the period doesn’t return until next month, if you think you might be pregnant or generally if you are worried, I would recommend consulting a doctor. Hi Kuki!

Many reasons might delay your period, such as stress, hormonal imbalance, or lifestyle changes like a new schedule. If the period doesn’t return and you are uncertain of why this might be happening, I would recommend consulting a doctor. Please keep in mind that we are no medical professionals and therefore cannot make a remote diagnosis. Only a medical professional can make the necessary examinations.
