I saw my period on the 14 day of February till 19th day of February and had sex on 23 of February, but I haven’t seen my period this month, and am not pregnant either,so what could be the cause?
Hi From-God Edem!
Many reasons might delay your period, such as stress, hormonal imbalance, or lifestyle changes like a new schedule. Being sick and taking some medication may also influence and mess up with your menstrual cycle. Hormones regulate the menstrual cycle, and many things can affect your hormone function and balance.
If the period doesn’t return until next month, if you think you might be pregnant or generally if you are worried, I would recommend consulting a doctor. Please keep in mind that we are no medical professionals and therefore cannot make a remote diagnosis. Only a medical professional can make the necessary examinations.

Hi Aganmwonyi Vicky!
If you’re concerned about pregnancy it is best to take an at home pregnancy test or to consult a doctor. Home pregnancy tests are often quite accurate but if they show negative, and you are still suspecting you might be pregnant, please consult your doctor :) As we are not medical professionals we cannot provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.Keep in mind that many reasons might delay your period, such as stress, hormonal imbalance, or lifestyle changes like a new schedule. Hi Helen!
Many reasons might delay your period, such as stress, hormonal imbalance, or lifestyle changes like a new schedule. Hormones regulate the menstrual cycle, and many things can affect your hormone function and balance. Being sick and/or taking medication can also affect your periods and menstrual cycle and cause delays or irregularities.
If you are not sure it could be one of these reasons, or you have no possibility of being pregnant, we recommend you to talk to your doctor just to make sure why your period could be late now! Unfortunately, we at Lunette are not medical professionals, so we cannot diagnose or safely state what could cause your period to be late.

Hello Omobolanle!
Many reasons might delay your period, such as stress, hormonal imbalance, or lifestyle changes like a new schedule. Hormones regulate the menstrual cycle, and many things can affect your hormone function and balance. Delayed periods can always be an indication of pregnancy. Please note that the easiest way to find out if you are pregnant is with an at-home pregnancy test.
Keep tracking your cycle with a period app or by making notes to your calendar. This way you can be up to date with your cycle :)

Hi Becky,
the most likely time to become pregnant is when having unprotected sex close to ovulation. Unfortunately it is difficult to tell when exactly ovulation is happening. The shorter the menstrual cycle the earlier ovulation happens. So, if you believe you could be pregnant the easiest way to find out is with an at-home pregnancy test.

I was so worried and This article helped me a lot to clear up some confusion. I am not pregnant but my period didn’t arrive yet. I feel sick since last week and I also guess that my weight is also fallen. I faced this situation first time. I do not know what I should do now. One more thing is it has any side effects if I take medicine for menstruation ?
I started my period when I was 12+, I’ve never had a normal cycle, it’s not stable. Sometimes the range of my cycle is 30-98 days. I can stay for four month without seeing my period, there was even a time I saw my period one day in one year.Thou I’m 21 and still a virgin, I can’t understand why it is so, I later found out that there was a time I was sick that lead to blood transfusion and I have shortage of blood. I’ve been taking supplements and blood tonic to replenish my blood but it is not yielding result. So I want to ask if there is something I can do to make my cycle normal?
I finished my period on 6 I have sex 8 and I and am doing another period on 21 can I be pregnant
